New construction is a clean box. A remodel is a box that already has a life in it - old texture, out-of-plumb framing, a ceiling that was never square. We hang the new, tie into the old, and finish so the seam between them does not read as a seam.

Additions
Tie the new rooms into the existing house. Match the finish so you cannot find the original exterior wall.
Kitchens & baths
Moisture-resistant board where it belongs. Clean cuts around cabinets, tile, and mechanicals.
Open floor plans
Take a wall down, patch the ceiling, close the leftover. Bulkheads and soffits when the beam has to stay.
Office & retail
Demising walls, new suites, and the corridor that has to look like it was always there.
